Attorney Lynette Mendoza Villa’s principal areas of practice include residential real estate and commercial transactions, corporate, commercial business transactions, probate and liquor control matters. In addition to representing small business owners, Lynette serves as counsel to several banks and other lending institutions. She has assisted her clients obtain loans and grants through many community and State programs such as House Hartford, Hartford Housing Authority, HEDCO, Inc., HOME, HOPE VI, Hartford GAP program, and the Department of Economic and Community Development, just to name a few.
She is skilled in closing residential sales, purchases and refinances effectively. Lynette also prides herself in being able to conduct closings completely in Spanish when needed, a necessity in a growing Latino market.
Lynette also teaches the role of the attorney in Spanish at first time homebuyer seminars as a way to reach out to her community and educate those who are in the process of achieving the dream of home ownership. She has served as a hearing officer for the New Britain and Hartford Housing Authorities on several matters ranging from non-compliance of lease agreements to Section 8 violations.
Lynette, who is of English and Spanish fluency, has almost 20 years of legal experience.
She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is a member of Connecticut and Hispanic Bar Association.
Lynette was born and raised in Windsor. She lives in town with her husband and two children.
