Attorney Timothy J. Fitzgerald joined the Law Firm of O’Malley, Deneen, Leary, Messina & Oswecki in January 2018 after practicing for over 30 years in Glastonbury with the firm Dwyer Sheridan & Fitzgerald. He graduated from East Hartford High School, Tufts University with honors, and the University of Connecticut School of Law. Tim has lived in Windsor since 1981.
Tim practices in a wide range of areas, including civil and business litigation, family law, landlord-tenant matters, residential and commercial real estate, small business organizations and transactions, land-use matters, personal injury, wills, trusts, probate, and elder law matters. He has successfully prosecuted and defended many appeals for clients before the Connecticut appellate courts.
Tim has been very active in community affairs, including long service as Secretary of the Windsor Planning & Zoning Commission and as Chairman of the Board of Ethics. He served on the Tufts University Alumni Admissions Committee for many years and on the St. Gabriel School Board. He is currently an MDC Commissioner. Along with partner Michael Deneen, he has been a co-owner of the Union Street Tavern since 2006 and was the Commissioner of the Ponce De Leon Basketball League for 15 years.
